I am a native of the Sarasota-Bradenton area and have over 30 years experience in customer service related fields.  The highlights of my retail career included positions as a buyer and a store manager for Macy's department stores.  After retail, I joined a domestic lighting manufacturer and called on some of the largest retail accounts in the country, including Federated Department Stores, Dillard's, Pier I and Pottery Barn.  In the early '90's, I seized the opportunity to step out on my own and build my own lighting design, manufacturing and sales company.  
As President and CEO of Light Artistry, Inc., I built a profitable $10,000,000 organization serving accounts including Pottery Barn, Pier I, Crate & Barrel and Eddie Bauer.  My portion of the organization included design and product development, marketing and sales.  My strengths, including listening, have always helped me determine what the customer REALLY wants.  After I know what the customer wants, I make it happen. 
Besides listening to the customer, I always think "outside the box" and find creative ways to fulfill the customer's wants and needs.  I have worked with many difficult and demanding people, but have never had an unhappy customer.
